What If... Phil Jackson revived Andrew Bynum's career?

by Barry Petchesky from http://deadspin.com/5919528/phil-jackson-thinks-andrew-bynum-ruined-the-lakers-mojo

It's safe to say, Andrew Bynum has not been doing well since the blockbuster Dwight Howard trade. Fans in Philadelphia had hope of receiving an elite center. Personal injuries during the off season lead to a season on the bench and finally the team felt they had to part ways.

Can Phil Jackson persuade Andrew Bynum to come to the New York Knicks and play at an elite level? The Knicks are in desperate of a post-up center. Andrew Bynum doesn't need the money right now. He needs to gain his reputation back and why not start in New York with Phil Jackson and Derek Fisher. He has nothing to lose and all the Knicks fan want is a ticket to the Eastern Conference playoffs. He can score and grab rebounds but most importantly the team needs him to play defense. We already know he can run the triangle offense when he was with Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers. Why not give the big fella a try at MSG?
