What If... Gregg Popovich was the head coach of the New York Knicks?

by Mike Dyce from http://fansided.com/2014/01/08/jeff-van-gundys-odd-interview-spurs-gregg-popovich-ends-hug-video/
It may seem surreal to see Gregg Popovich to coach any other team than the San Antonio Spurs but how well would the New York Knicks be if they had him as head coach? Would J.R. Smith buy into the system and become a pass first guard? Would the Knicks be able to win games with Carmelo Anthony playing 30 minutes a game? Maybe Iman Shumpert would be put in a similar situation as Kawhi Leonard and guard the best player on the opponents' team.

Coach Popovich had Boris Diaw play a key role in San Antonio Spurs run to the NBA finals against the Miami Heat and eventually winning the championship. Diaw didn't seem to fit with his old team, the Charlotte Bobcats. But Popovich managed to use Diaw's strength and established as part of a winning formula. Would the entire Knicks roster buy into his system? Or would it be a waste of time? We will never find out as Popovich and the Spurs continue their tradition of winning.
