What If... Jeremy Lin was still with the New York Knicks?

          We knew Houston Rockets offered him more money. But if Jeremy Lin stayed with the Knicks, would his role continue to be the same? Amar'e Stoudemire was playing great basketball and MSG had sellouts after sellouts. Jeremy Lin provided excitement in which the Knicks lacked. The Knicks needed Jeremy Lin and Jeremy Lin needed the Knicks. It was a win-win situation. Basketball is a business and they had to part ways. After Lin's run with the Knicks, his performance went downhill after signing with the Houston Rockets and eventually traded to the Los Angeles Lakers after two seasons. It was the perfect situation for him when Mike D'Antoni was the head coach of the New York Knicks. His up-tempo offense and Jeremy Lin's playmaking and driving abilities gave outside players such as Steve Novak and Carmelo Anthony more room for their offense. Is there still hope Jeremy Lin will return to the New York Knicks again?
